I’m Marissa — the proud owner of Storybook World Travel, a mom of three, a wife, and a lifelong Disney lover. I’ve always believed in the magic of making memories through travel, and for as long as I can remember, I’ve been drawn to the wonder of exploring the world.
As a child, I was completely captivated by the Travel Channel and the adventures of Samantha Brown. I’d sit and watch her wander through cities, taste new foods, and uncover hidden gems, and I knew deep in my heart: That’s what I want to do. That early spark turned into a lifelong passion that’s taken me from Disney parks to cruises and even into Europe, always chasing that same joy, curiosity, and connection.
Being born on Star Wars Day (yes — May the Fourth!), I’ve always felt a deep connection to the galaxy far, far away. Combine that with my love of fairy tales and magical places, and it’s no surprise that Disney holds a special place in my heart. Whether I’m taking a stroll around the world in EPCOT or piloting the Millennium Falcon in Galaxy’s Edge, I’m always chasing that feeling of wonder.
Since the birth of my third child in 2019, I’ve become a Walt Disney World Annual Passholder and have experienced Disney in nearly every way — from big family vacations and toddler-firsts to solo escapes and adults-only trips. Each journey has deepened my appreciation for the details that make a trip not just good, but unforgettable.
When I’m not planning dream vacations, you can find me playing with my kids, reading a fantasy book with a cozy blanket, watching my favorite animes, or rewatching Star Wars for the hundredth time. I’m a mix of a cozy homebody and an adventurous spirit — someone who dreams of new places but still finds comfort in familiar pages and warm mugs. I believe life is meant to be both an epic tale and a soft place to land — and I try to live somewhere beautifully in between.
In everything I do, I hope to create moments of magic, comfort, and connection — for my family, my clients, and the incredible team I’m lucky enough to lead. Watching my agents grow into confident, inspired travel planners is just as magical as sending a client on their dream trip.
